What would the world be without law?
What would the law be without lawyers?
Lawyers perform a vital role in democratic societies. Without them, it is hard to imagine democracy existing at all. Society benefits from enthusiastic, happy, and effective lawyers.
The Rich Lawyer aims to make more of them.
Our mission is to encourage lawyers to be the best version of themselves – both personally and professionally – enriching all aspects of their lives.
Unfortunately, many lawyers hate their work: feeling trapped by high status, higher expectations, and fears that they cannot thrive in any other sector. Depression, alcoholism, even suicide, is rife in the profession.
Even so, the law is surrounded by a sense of prestige; a mystique which draws in aspiring lawyers worldwide. However, the realities of practice can be very different.
Another goal of The Rich Lawyer is to dispel the pervading myths of legal practice and help students make choices which are right for them.
To be principled, passionate, and fulfilled is to live life as a Rich Lawyer.
